After a detailed examination sharp stenosis of the left renal artery was diagnosed to the boy at the age of 1 year 7 months with symptomatic arterial hypertension.

In cooperation with specialists from the Institute of surgery named after Shalimov carried out a unique operation at the Heart Institute: the elimination of renal artery stenosis with subsequent autotransplantation of kidney into the abdominal aorta. The operation was successful. Surgery and post-operative period the child has passed well.

For further treatment child was transferred to the “Okhmatdet” hospital.
