On April 20th, 2016, within the framework of VII International medical forum “Innovation in the medicine – health to the nation” a scientific and practical seminar “Interventional technology in heart failure and cardiomyopathy treatment”took place. It was organized by Heart Institute by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Chair of functional diagnostics by the P.L. Shupyk National Medical Academy for postgraduate education, and was held at the Exhibition Centre “KyivExpoPlasa”, Salyutna str., 2b, Kyiv.

The scope of the seminar covered uptodate aspects of cardiac resynchronization therapy, automatic implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, roentgen-endovascular interventions, extracorporeal membrane blood oxygenation, surgical revascularization of the myocardium and heart failure and heart defects diagnostics.

The lectures were presented by Heart Institute General Director Borys Todurov, head of the Functional diagnostics chair, prof.Zharynov O.J. and other specialists of the Institute. The presentations demonstrated high achievements of the Institute in heart problems’ treatment, at the world standards level.

Eighty cardiologists, therapeutists and functional diagnostics specialists took part in the Seminar. The Heart Institute was presented at the exhibition on its own stand (Exhibition Centre “KyivExpoPlasa”, Salyutna str., 2b, Kyiv).
