The milestone of 100 heart transplants has been successfully achieved by the team of the Heart Institute since the restart of Ukrainian transplantology in 2019!

A few years ago, each of these operations was an event, and people excitedly followed the work of the doctors, the courage of the patients, and the greatness of the decision of the donors’ families with sinking hearts. Now such operations have become quite commonplace, but only in the sense that today we do them more and more often, saving lives, and the number of donated lives is already counted in three-digit numbers.

The other day, we transplanted the 102nd heart within our walls alone.

And this is our big victory. We did it and we continue to do it every day! After all, human life is the highest value for us!
