A 32-year-old patient from Kyiv received the heart. A trip from Kyiv to Lutsk was needed because the donor was in Lutsk, and it was not possible to deliver the donor’s heart from there to Kyiv. Therefore, our team together with our patient headed to Lutsk where the transplantation was carried out that night.
