In the facilities of Volyn Regional Hospital a scientific-practical conference “Pulmonary embolism” was held for cardiologists, rheumatologists, anesthesiologists and surgeons of the region. General Director of SI “The Heart Institute by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” Borys Todurov and leading specialists of the regional clinical hospital participated in the event.

At the Heart Institute by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine a discussion platform “Laboratory of ideas” took place. The representatives of the Finnish government and activists of international peacekeeping organizations, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, kindly participated. The meeting brought together leading Ukrainian antiterrorist campaign volunteer doctors and medical students.

At the 20th week of pregnancy, the woman had an acute myocardial infarction. She has been operated at the Heart Institute – coronary artery stenting.
August 11, 2015 at 37 weeks of pregnancy were successfully carried out pre-planned deliveries on the basis of our Institute.

In the Heart Institute has been operated the baby, whose father, having 6 children, volunteered in the area of ATO in the hope that will earn money for the heart operation for his two-year son Kolya, who has congenital heart disease. Son – healthy, and his father, who was tortured in captivity, still is fighting for his life.

Boris Todurov met with the head of Lugansk regional military-civilian administration Gennady Moskal. During the meeting, the country’s leading cardiac surgeon said that the Lugansk and Donetsk regions are in a very difficult situation, because they were left to fend for themselves without regional cardiology department.
