On Saturday, June 2, 2018, a Ukrainian-French scientific and practical workshop on Doppler-echocardiographic diagnostics “Quantitative evaluation of cardiac cavities ” was organized at the Heart Institute under the auspices of the Institute and the Department of Functional Diagnostics of the NMAPE named after P. Shupik with the assistance of the French Embassy in Ukraine.
The main purpose of the workshop was to train physicians on the practical application of the latest American and European approved guidelines for echocardiographic visualization of the heart. The main speaker at the seminar was Ph.D. Mykola Miroshnik, our compatriot, a doctor at the European hospital named after Georges Pompidou (Paris).
More than 250 participants of the workshop – doctors of various specialties, including listeners of the cycle of “Echocardiography” course, enthusiastically listened to an intensive lecture course and were able to directly observe the examination of the patients on the screen of the large conference room of the Heart Institute. The participants of the seminar were greeted by General Director of the Heart Institute Borys Todurov, as well as by the head of the functional diagnostics department Olet Zharinov and the attaché on scientific and university cooperation of the French Embassy in Ukraine Mr. Sylvain Rigollet.
