
The conference was accredited as a CPD event and took place in the conference hall of the Heart Institute, with online broadcasting provided.
The opening lecture was delivered by Professor Borys Todurov, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, General Director of the Heart Institute, and Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery, Endovascular and Extracorporeal Technologies at the Shupyk National University of Health of Ukraine. He presented the Institute’s achievements over the past year, particularly in valve surgery and transplantation.

Major contributions to the scientific program came from faculty of the University and the Heart Institute (B. Todurov, O. Zharinov, V. Kuts, L. Tkachenko, O. Yepanchintseva, Ya. Skybchyk, Ye. Novikov, I. Noverko, O. Ushakova, N. Yevtushenko). The conference also featured invited experts from related departments of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (V. Tseluyko), Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University (N. Oryshchyn, M. Sorokivskyi, A. Aker), the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy (N. Sydorova), and the “Mirum” clinic (D. Al Kaddah).
An interactive workshop on electrocardiographic diagnostics of arrhythmias and heart blocks was held as a separate CPD event. Online voting during the discussion of dozens of clinical cases significantly increased audience engagement.
The conference became an important milestone in the collaboration of specialized departments teaching cardiology and functional diagnostics. Participants will receive certificates in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health’s Center for Quality of Education.
