On September 13, 2019, adult’s and children’s teams of specialists of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine visited Rivne (“Rivne Regional Clinical Medical-Diagnostic Center named after V. Polischuk”).
Cardiac surgeons Viktor Shevchenko, Vasyl Karpenko and doctors of functional diagnostics and echocardiography Oksana Krot, Natalia Ruban held a consultative reception of patients with pathology of the cardiovascular system.

In one day 124 patients, 47 adults and 77 children, were examined and consulted. Patients who have already undergone surgery and those diagnosed for the first time could obtain a specialist’s advice, 18 patients were found to require cardiac surgery.
