The 35th Annual Congress of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons (EACTS) took place on October 13-16, 2021 in Barcelona (Spain). The Congress is considered the most representative among specialists in cardiovascular surgery in the world. This year, representatives of 69 countries took part in it. It was a great honor for the delegation from the Heart Institute including Borys Todurov, Igor Mokryk, and Anatoly Ivanyuk to present a report on the use of Operation Ozaki to correct the pathology of the pulmonary artery valve.

At the same time, the Congress of the European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion was held in Barcelona. It is a leading forum that annually brings together perfusion specialists from all over the world. Representatives of the Heart Institute Stepan Marunyak and Serhiy Sudakevych presented a report with an analysis of our experience in the use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation during transcatheter myocardial revascularization.
