Prof. Borys Todurov and the team of specialists of the Heart Institute: cardiac surgeons Andriy Markovets, Oleksiy Polishchuk, ultrasound diagnostics specialist, cardiologist Khrystyna Monastyrska and children’s team – cardiac surgeon Vadym Sakalov and ultrasound specialist diagnostician Tetiana Bilyk provided consultation in medical institutions of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Advisory and diagnostic assistance to patients with heart defects and cardiovascular diseases were provided on the basis of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Cardiology Center, Children’s Regional Hospital and Children’s Polyclinic in Kolomyia. Several patients were selected for cardiac surgery. There were patients who needed a heart transplant.

The visit was arranged by the management of the Department of Health of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration and the Heart Institute with the participation of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University.
