On June 23 and 24, 2022, Borys Todurov and a team of specialists from the Heart Institute, including Head of the Department of Diagnostics, cardiologist prof. Olga Yepanchintseva; Head of the Department of Treatment of Ischemic Disease, cardiac surgeon, Ph.D. Viktor Shevchenko, specialist in ultrasound diagnostics, Ph.D. Natalia Ponich provided on-site consultations in the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine.

Over the course of 2 days, highly specialized medical care was provided to patients with cardiovascular diseases and combined pathology, as well as to children with congenital heart defects, many of whom required operative intervention.

As part of the visit, prof. Borys Todurov gave a lecture on New Aspects in Cardiac Surgery for colleagues and talked about the tactics of treating pulmonary embolism and conducting heart transplantation.
