On February 9th and 10th, 2024, pediatric specialists from the Heart Institute — cardiorheumatologist, ultrasound specialist Olena Dudko, and surgeon Prof. Oleksandr Romaniuk — conducted outpatient consultations for children in Ternopil at the “Malecha” clinic and at the Smolnytsky Clinic in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
The doctors examined 64 children, identifying congenital heart defects in 22 of them, 4 of them already requiring surgical intervention shortly.
