Joining Forces to Save Children’s Hearts!

Director of the Heart Institute Prof. Borys Todurov, and founder and Director of the Your Support Charity Foundation, Valeria Tatarchuk, signed an important Memorandum of Cooperation!

Every year, the Heart Institute saves the lives of more than 700 children with congenital heart defects. It was here that 10 successful pediatric heart transplants were performed, in particular, the youngest patient, Solomiya, was only 6 years old. Today she is a happy schoolgirl who lives a full life!

In conditions when state resources are focused on helping the military, support from charitable organizations becomes critically important. The Your Support Foundation is one of the most powerful in the field of supporting pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery, and this cooperation will provide an opportunity to help even more young patients.

New challenges lie ahead. There are over 20 children on the waiting list who need heart and lung transplants. Together we can give them a chance at life!
