International Conference “Modern Cardiology 2025”

31-05-2025

The Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, together with the pharmaceutical company Darnitsa, has for the second time organized a unique conference for cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and family physicians — Modern Cardiology 2025.

The event served as a platform for discussing current developments in cardiology, exchanging professional experience, and identifying new effective solutions to improve treatment strategies for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
The conference brought together more than 500 physicians from across Ukraine and featured over 15 substantive presentations delivered by Ukrainian and international experts.

Participants explored all aspects of cardiology care — from prevention to complex surgical interventions. Key topics included advances in heart transplantation, management of end-stage heart failure, atherosclerosis, asymptomatic cardiac arrhythmias, ischemic heart disease, and other critical conditions.

The program also addressed the current state of cardio-oncology worldwide, modern opportunities in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, and the use of artificial intelligence and innovative technologies in surgical practice. Special attention was devoted to contemporary approaches to the treatment of combat-related injuries and pediatric transplantation.

The conference underscored the importance of collaboration between medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies in enhancing the quality of cardiology care in Ukraine.
We extend our gratitude to Darnitsa for productive cooperation and support in advancing Ukrainian cardiology.
We also thank all speakers for their valuable contributions, with particular appreciation to our international colleagues who, despite the war and its challenges, joined us in person. Your presence is a source of inspiration and support.
Such events provide opportunities to share experience, learn from one another, and continue developing Ukrainian cardiology even in difficult times.
