The head of the Department of Acquired Heart Defects, Ihor Mokryk, visited the Cardiosurgery Department of the University Clinic in Hradec Králové (Czech Republic). The department is one of the leading cardiac surgery centers in the Czech Republic and Europe. A significant experience in Aorta surgery has been accumulated here (Ross, David operations, correction of Aorta dissection). Remarkable results were also achieved here in the performance of minimally invasive myocardial revascularization, including using the Da Vinci Robot.
Professor Jan Vojacek manages the Center. He is the current President of the Czech Society for Cardiovascular Surgery and the Head of the Working Group on Aortic Valve Surgery and Plastic Surgery of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
We congratulate our Czech colleagues for achieving excellent results in treating heart pathology and express our sincere gratitude for their willingness to share their experiences with Ukrainian doctors.
