August 31, 2012 Prof. Boris Todurov as a Chief cardiac surgeon of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in ” Surgery of the heart and vessels” visited to Ternopil as part of the planed trips to regions, approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

With Prof. Boris Todurov there were two teams of specialists (for adults and for children), equipped with modern portable ultrasound devices. During the visit approximately 70 children with congenital heart disease were examined at the regional children’s hospital. Second team has advised about 50 adults at the Cardiology Clinic.

During the visit  Boris Todurov has given a lecture: “Modern possibilities of cardiac surgery and surgical treatment of pulmonary embolism”.  Doctors of different specialities (cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, surgeons, obstetricians, traumatologists, anesthesiologists and er- physicians) were invited to this event.
