The Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Advances Training in Renal Replacement Therapy in Warsaw

On May 12–13, 2025, an international hands-on workshop on “Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) in Patients with Acute Kidney Injury in the Intensive Care Unit” was held at the Baxter Education Center in Warsaw. The event featured the participation of Dr. Kamel El Attar, Medical Director of Vantive CEETI & MEA, along with leading Polish experts Tomasz Czarnik and Marcin Tkachik.

Dr. Svitlana Romanenko, anesthesiologist at the Adult Intensive Care Unit, took part in the workshop, studied modern standards of patient care, and received practical training on equipment for prolonged renal replacement therapy.

The newly acquired knowledge and skills will help us save the lives of Ukrainians even more effectively.
