On August 29, 2018 a team of experts from the Heart Institute, headed by the General Director of the Institute, Borys Todurov, visited Sumy (North-East of Ukraine).
The purpose of the trip was to examine the patients, which took place in the medical center “Floris” (Sirka Str. 3, Sumy).
About 100 patients were examined, including 52 children with heart pathology, and extensive counseling on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases was provided. There were many children who were registered in the Sumy City Children’s Hospital, as well orphans living in the Children’s Home, and residents of the region.
Borys Todurov noted that those children who need surgery will be operated by the Heart Institute’s specialists in Kyiv.
On the same day Borys Todurov’s lecture for local specialists took place, during which many issues concerning the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases were reviewed.
