The Heart Institute always strives to remain at the forefront of modern medicine, and our doctors regularly participate in major international forums. This year, the 58th Annual Congress of the Association for European Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology (AEPC’25), held on May 28–31 in Hamburg, Germany, was no exception.
The congress gathered more than 1,200 participants, among them our specialists — Olena Dudko, Dmytro Harbuz, Olena Rudenko, and Olha Shpora — who had the opportunity to explore new trends in cardiology and cardiac surgery for congenital heart defects in both children and adults.
Knowledge and experience were shared by speakers from the USA, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, and many other countries. Once again, our team was glad to meet with our colleagues from the University Children’s Hospital in Kraków, Poland — Prof. Tomasz Mroczek.
Every such trip brings new knowledge home — knowledge that helps us provide better care for our youngest patients.
