The team of the Heart Institute took part in the EABM 2024 annual conference in Romania at the invitation of the President of the Euro-Asian Bridge Society of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons, Prof. Grigori Tinica.

Prof. Borys Todurov presented the unique experience of Ukraine in the treatment of combat wounds of the heart and carrying out transplants in the conditions of war. Both reports received a standing ovation from the international community.

For outstanding achievements in cardiac surgery during the war, Prof. Borys Todurov was awarded a special award by the association.
