In particular, doctor of the Department of Surgical Treatment of Cardiac Arrhythmias, PhD Yaroslav Skibczyk spoke about the latest aspects of the use of electrical cardioversion. In his report, the Head of the Arrhythmia Treatment Center of the “Feofania” clinic, associate professor Oleksiy Paratsii, highlighted the modern technologies of catheter treatment of paroxysmal tachyarrhythmias and atrial fibrillation. Associate Professor of the Department of Functional Diagnostics Hanna Verezhnikova spoke in detail about the principles of differential diagnosis of tachycardias with wide QRS complexes, as well as the role of cardiac resynchronization therapy and physiological stimulation of the conduction system of the heart in the management of patients with intraventricular blockade. In addition, this report drew attention to the role of consideration of intraventricular blocks in the selection of antiarrhythmic drugs and their safe use. The head of the Department of Functional Diagnostics, Prof. Oleg Zharinov, highlighted the role of antiarrhythmic pharmacotherapy in the management of patients with paroxysmal tachyarrhythmias in the era of catheter interventions using clinical examples.

More than 120 participants of the event successfully passed the tests specially prepared by the lecturers and will receive certificates of continuous professional development. The full video recording of the master class is available for viewing on the YouTube channel.
