On September 6-8, 2019, the 29th Annual Congress of the World Society of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons was held in the capital of Bulgaria Sofia. Doctors of the Heart Institute made two presentations at the Congress.

The head of the Department of acquired heart defects Igor Mokryk presented the “Analysis of immediate and middle-term results of the Ozaki procdure”, cardiac surgeon Alexander Bytsadze presented “Emergency surgical revascularization in case of acute myocardial infarction”.
