The children from the Sumy Regional Specialized Orphanage were evacuated by 4 ambulances to the Heart Institute. The road was extremely difficult – these are children with multiple disabilities.

Upon arrival, all the children were examined, fed, had their clothes changed, and received all the necessary medical care.

Some of the children will go on to Lviv, some will stay with us and for a while, as noted by the director of the Heart Institute Prof. Borys Todurov, we will be fathers and mothers to these children, because children are orphans.
