It is exactly 1 year between these photos and then it was the second birthday of our Solomiyka, who has already become a symbol of Ukrainian transplantology.

Today we celebrate life and the chance that we, as doctors, get to save it thanks to the difficult and vital decision of the donor families.

We will always remember and thank the parents of the boy Yura, it was thanks to them that a year ago we were able to save the lives of Solomiyka and two other boys. A low bow and gratitude that is difficult to express in words.
With utmost sincerity, the staff of the Heart Institute wishes Solomiyka and her family a long and happy life!
