Workshops “Practical Cardiology: From Risk Factors to Modern Diagnostic Methods”

On October 25 in Kyiv and November 1 in Vinnytsia, workshops entitled “Practical Cardiology: From Risk Factors to Modern Diagnostic Methods” brought together cardiologists from the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions.

Doctors from the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine — Liliia Tkachenko, PhD in Medicine, cardiologist, and Iryna Shkurat, PhD in Medicine, specialist in ultrasound and functional diagnostics — led interactive sessions where they analyzed complex clinical cases with colleagues and discussed modern approaches to the treatment of ischemic heart disease (IHD) and the diagnosis of vascular disorders.

The format allowed participation both in person (40–50 physicians at each location) and online, with nearly 500 registered participants.

From theory to practice: risk factors for IHD, ultrasound of the brachiocephalic arteries, ECG interpretation, and management of patients with comorbidities — all the challenges cardiologists face daily in their clinical work.
