Participation of Heart Institute Physicians in the European Society for Organ Transplantation Congress (ESOT 2025)

Participation in prestigious international congresses enables our physicians to share their experience and represent Ukrainian medicine at the global level. This is particularly important at a time when our country requires both support and recognition.

The team of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine — Borys Todurov, Serhii Sudakevych, Ihor Kuzmych, Mykola Melnyk, and Sofiia Chaikovska — was invited to take part in the European Society for Organ Transplantation Congress (ESOT 2025), held in London, United Kingdom, from June 29 to July 2.
Professor Borys Todurov delivered a presentation on “The Use of Marginal Donor Hearts in Heart Transplantation” and presented the outcomes of heart transplantations performed at the Heart Institute.

This was a great honor for our team, as for the first time in history our work was presented at such a congress.
We met many like-minded colleagues and felt the sincere support of European physicians.
