The team of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine — Borys Todurov, Havrylo Kovtun, Serhii Sudakevych, Sofiia Chaikovska, Vitalii Demianchuk, Ihor Stetsiuk, and Mariia Hassanzadeh — represented Ukraine with distinction at the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery Congress, held in October in Copenhagen.
Professor Borys Todurov delivered a significant presentation on the transportation of donor hearts during wartime — a topic that deeply impressed European colleagues, highlighting the extraordinary efforts of Ukrainian physicians who continue to save lives under the most difficult conditions.
