To the sound of Shahed drones, amid explosions and in the dead of night, the Director of the Heart Institute, Borys Todurov, and his team of doctors head to Okhmatdyt to retrieve the heart of a young donor. That same night, they return to perform a transplant for a child at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

One more young life saved.

Symbolically, on the Day of Remembrance for Fallen Medical Workers, these heroes in white coats continue to risk their own safety—so that light may overcome darkness, and life may go on…
