The team of doctors of the Heart Institute is on guard for the health of children’s hearts throughout the country.

This time, the doctors of the Children’s Department, who specialize in diagnosing and treating congenital heart defects, conducted consultations at the Zhytomyr Regional Children’s Hospital.

More than 100 children were examined. 19 of them were prescribed operative treatment, 3 children needed urgent hospitalization. The children’s parents were referred for treatment to the children’s department of the Heart Institute.

Also, in addition to the provided medical care, our doctors gave a lecture and shared their experience on the treatment of congenital heart defects and pediatric heart transplantation.
