Thursday and Friday this week at the Heart Institute turned out to be very fruitful – two heart transplants were successfully performed by Gavrylo Kovtun and a team of doctors of the Heart Institute.
Two women received new hearts – a 53-year-old patient from Kyiv and a 48-year-old patient from Zaporizhzhia.
We bow our heads and thank the donors’ families for their noble decision and the chance to save others!
