Kyiv — Ivano-Frankivsk – Lviv. For all – 7 hours on the road for heart collection and less than an hour for surgery.
Director of the Heart Institute, Prof. Borys Todurov, together with a team of our doctors and Lviv colleagues led by the director of the Clinical Emergency Hospital of Lviv Oleh Samchuk successfully performed another heart transplant. The recipient is a 29-year-old man, his condition after the operation is stable.

Many thanks to the team of doctors of the Lviv Ambulance Hospital and Oleg Samchuk for fruitful cooperation. We also thank the colleagues of Ivano-Frankivsk Hospital.

Honor and gratitude to the family of a 54-year-old man who became a donor. Their difficult decision made it possible to save the lives of three Ukrainians.
